At Jon Bailey Training , my mission is to empower individuals to achieve optimal health and wellness through fitness and lifestyle changes. I strive to provide a welcoming and supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and motivated to reach their goals.
I am a highly qualified and experienced in designing programmes that are safe, effective, and tailored to your individual needs. I stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in the fitness industry to ensure that our clients receive the best possible guidance and support.
I offer a variety of services, including one-on-one personal training, group fitness classes, and online coaching. I also offer specialised programmes for seniors, athletes, and families and teens. I will work with you to create a programme that fits your goals, schedule, and budget.
My journey into personal training began with my love for boxing, which still remains a passion of mine to this day.
Over the past 20 years, I have worked in the health and fitness industry, gaining valuable experience at some of London and the home counties' most prestigious fitness centres. My career in personal training began at a small hotel group in Aylesbury, where I honed my skills and developed my passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals.
From there, I moved on to Fitness First, where I continued to gain experience working with a diverse range of clients. After several years at Fitness First, I was given the opportunity to train elite athletes at Brunel University, where I spent six years helping some of the country's most promising athletes achieve their full potential. More recently, I have worked at Virgin Riverside in Northwood and Greys Studio in St John's Wood, London.
At both of these prestigious fitness centres, I have continued to develop my skills as a personal trainer, helping clients from all walks of life to achieve their fitness goals, improve their health and wellbeing, and enhance their overall quality of life. My qualifications
I generally incorporate the following types of exercise into my training programmes as simply put, they deliver results. Variety is also key to ensuring clients remain motivated and most importantly, enjoy their time with me.
A two-for-one cardio and strength workout. Boxing is a great cardio and burns calories fast.
Weight training uses weights for resistance. Weight training can help lose fat and build lean muscle mass. This is the best way to build muscle.
15 minutes of high intensity interval training burns more calories than jogging on a treadmill for an hour. It's a great endurance exercise.
Strength training uses resistance to induce muscular contraction. This type of training can help boost longevity and lean muscle growth.
I'll create a customized training programme based on your fitness level and goals. With regular check-ins and adjustments, you'll see progress and meet your fitness goals.
I offer fitness assessments to help you understand your strengths and weaknesses. With this information, we'll develop a training plan that's tailored to your unique needs.
I can train a family group, these training sessions are a fun and challenging workout. You'll get the benefits of personal training in a supportive group environment.
